-
- There is another alternative to Power Data. The trouble with Power Data
- is that it only supports pp files, what if you wanted to crunch your
- guide (and any others) with the better Stone Cruncher or XPK? Power Data
- would then be useless. Instead try MCP v1.05 (aminet). Amonst it's
- amazing feature list, it has 'crunch patch' which allows you to
- selectively make *any* program have the ability to read (decrunch) any
- Power Packed, XPK'd or StoneCrunched files.
-
- Also when you have used MCP for a while, you'll find it indispensible.
- It just does so much and is very stable AND FREE! The authors like you
- to register, so they can keep track on who uses it. But they don't want
- funds for registration and if you go to their Web page (in docs for MCP
- v1.05) you can find the latest beta release MCP 1.10 Beta 5, which is
- even more amazing. Try it and let the guys know what you think, I think
- they need a medal!
